Classic Editor is an official plugin operated by the WordPress team that restores the previous ("Classic") WordPress editor and the "Edit Post" screen. This makes it possible to extend that screen, add old-style meta boxes, or use plugins that rely on previous editors.
Classic Editor is an official WordPress plugin, and will be fully supported and maintained at least until 2022 or for as long as needed.
